Matthew Specht Exhibition
As I’ve spent more time focusing on my photography, I’ve also spent more time putting myself “out there” and taking chances I wouldn’t have before. I had someone from RAW Artists reach out to me and invite me to be in their “Underground Art Show”, I accepted and created a profile on their site. I haven’t even had a chance to be in the RAW Houston showcase when I received and email from the City of Missouri City telling me they found my profile on the rawartists.org website and loved my work.
After a conversation, they wanted to host my photography in their brand new visitors center art gallery and have my own personal exhibition. WHAT?! I couldn’t believe it! The experience was amazing and they hosted my photos for 2 months.
Missouri City Visitors Center
The Missouri City Visitors Center was recently built and they really try and bring in local artists and talent to showcase to the public. I was honored to be invited to showcase my work.
I was able to go photograph some of the wonderful people and places of Missouri City, such as, the fire station, gold course, and of course the water tower right outside the visitors center.
The city and employees were extremely helpful and appreciative and I hope to get to work with them in the future. Check out some of the photos from my exhibition below.
