How did this happen?
Typically, I have to enter a competition or reach out and do the work to get my photos featured; however, this one was a little different. I received an email from Voyage Houston asking to use one of my Instagram photos in their article “Flashes & Strokes: a Tale of Two Mediums”. I agreed and they posted my Instagram photo and continued to stay in contact with me.
After a couple of weeks, Voyage Houston reached out to me and asked if they could do an interview and featured me in their magazine. I was extremely excited and in their March, 2019 issue under “The Thought-Provokers: Celebrating Artists & Creatives” they added a full-page article called “Art & Life with Matthew Specht”, you should go and check it out :)
